BASKET WORKSHOPS

Double Rimmed Basket
Date: May 9 - May 16 (2 day- class)

This basket has a closed bottom which measures about 6" by 11". The sides are woven with 1/2" flat reed and 1/4" flat oval. It is also woven with dyed brown 1/2" maple and brown #3 round reed. The #3 round reed will be woven to make an arrow weave. A Gretchen boarder will be added after lashing. Not for a first time weaver. Registration deadline is May 2, 2018.

CERAMICS

Ceramics for Adults:

In this class, instructor Bev Ziegler guides you through decorating functional pieces while learning the basics, or furthering your existing skills, in working with clay. Class will teach pinching, coil, slab and pottery wheel techniques.
Students are encouraged to get creative and explore the world of ceramics by using their imagination to create unique personal designs. You will also be able to personalize your ceramic piece by decorating and using various glazing techniques.
All projects do require firing in the kiln, so they will not be ready to take home the same day. All supplies included.

It's time to begin your impressionist acrylic painting experience. Discover, enjoy, and relax while creating a luscious painting in a short 2 hour class with step-by-step instructions with artist Stephanie Sibits. There will be a short critique during the class to talk about composition and color while you get a feel for the texture and the magical quality of acrylics.
Supply List:
